It's a brat summer with Audio Chat ;)
With Audio Chat, you can upload your audio recordings and ask any questions about them (summaries, specific points, "who said this?", etc.) For context, I'm a new grad who has been going through the full-time job interview process. I record all my interviews so I can listen back and figure out how to improve my answers or see what I messed up on. I figured it would be so much easier to be able to "chat" with my recordings instead of listening to the full recording. For instance, I would ask:
"List all of the interview questions that were asked."
"How could I improve my answer on the time complexity question?"
"What do you think I need to practice given my responses?"
This would also be great for lectures:
"Summarize the key takeaways"
"What specifically did the professor say would be on the exam?"
"Expand on what he said about state variables."
And meetings:
"What features does the client need by next week?"
"What is our ROI this quarter?"
"What is our investor's biggest concern right now?"
And much, much more! Hope this can help you in some way :)
(DISCLAIMER: Audio Chat currently only supports files <=4MB. If this gets enough traction, I will keep hacking to accommodate unlimited file size!)

@shridharathi I’ve been looking for something like this for such a long time. Thanks for making this will try it out!
This is such a brilliant idea, @shridharathi! The ability to "chat" with audio recordings can definitely enhance the process of learning and preparation. Uploading interview recordings and getting instant feedback will surely save time and improve your performance. The use cases for lectures and meetings are spot on too, especially for summarizing key points. I can see a lot of potential in this tool for both personal and professional growth. Looking forward to seeing how it evolves! 🚀 Keep up the great work!
Hey Shridhar,
How does the AI handle accents or background noise in the audio files?
Do you have any plans to add features for collaborative note-taking or sharing insights from recordings with team members?
Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin Hi Kyrylo, collaborative spaces would be such a useful feature! And I would say it's quite good at denoising - try it out for yourself and let me know what you think!

This is such a valuable tool, @shridharathi! The ability to interact with recordings instead of re-listening makes reviewing so much more efficient. I love the idea of using it for interviews and lectures—definitely a game changer for those of us navigating the job market or trying to grasp complex topics. Can’t wait to see how this develops! Keep up the great work!
Congrats @shridharathi on this cool launch! Audio Chat sounds like a game changer for anyone handling interviews or lectures. The ability to interact with recordings and get specific insights is revolutionary for optimizing performance. Can’t wait to see how this evolves and what features you’ll add next! Upvoting for sure! #MakersUnite

Interesting idea but having a 4MB limit is frustrating, kind of defeats the purpose if you got long meetings or interviews, also not sure how effective it would be when it comes to more complex queries, hope there will be more updates soon to make it less restrictive
@benoitbigdata Absolutely heard. I definitely can build out unlimited file size upload, but I just wanted to get an initial reaction to the product as quickly as I could. Now that I see that so many people would use this, I will get rid of the file size limit by the end of this week! Follow along for more updates and let me know what you would want to see in a V2 :)

This is such a cool concept, @shridharathi! I love the idea of being able to query audio recordings directly. How does the AI handle different accents or audio quality? Also, do you have plans for any integrations with other platforms, like Zoom or Teams? Could be a game changer for many! 📈
@christopherdavidanderson Hi Christopher, I appreciate the support! The AI technology is quite good at detecting voices against background noise and handling accents. Try it out and lmk what you think!
Integrations would be cool — is that something you would personally use? Let me know what other features you would want to see!
