I've been a delighted user of Astro almost since launch. And now they have sold to Slack - and are immediately shutting down.

Can anyone recommend a good email/calendar client?

Pros:

It was awesome.

Cons:

It is gone.

Try Consider! We just launched today--https://www.producthunt.com/post...
7 months later and I'm still looking for a good alternative. Have you had any luck with anything?

Hope business model isn't subscription

Pros:

Stable, great design, lots of functionalities

Cons:

Email providers, background fetch on iOS

I'm in love, and I HATE email clients. You have to try it to understand!

Pros:

Clean UI, So smart, Efficient, Pretty, Tracks emails!

Cons:

None so far

Very nice :-)

Only thing I'm not a fan of is the app's logo. Looks kind of goofy in my dock, I'd prefer a more mail/envelope kind of logo.

Pros:

Love the possibilities!

Cons:

None so far

Just switched to this email client both on my Mac and my iPhone. I'm very impressed with how easy this is to use without too many bells and whistles.

I don't use the calendar though as I only use iCloud Calendar and not the calendar attached to my gmail.

Pros:

Easy and intelligent

Cons:

Only sync with google calendar

My mail client has to handle my personal as well as business mail. My life isn't neatly divided into work and non-work. All my personal mail is through my mac address. Not supporting that makes it worthless to me.

Pros:

I think it would be useful

Cons:

Doesn't support Mac Mail. Deal killer for me.

This email app was just beautifully designed and so easy to use.

Pros:

This email app is (was?) hands-down, my favorite email app of all time.

Cons:

The search was a bit slow
