First of all would like to say we’re incredibly humbled to be in front of you today.
Bots have not delivered on their promise to give users great experiences, with NLP/tree-diagrams and the like.
Surveying is the only function that bots can perform better than any other interface. Imagine going into a restaurant, coffee shop, grocery store, or the like--and being asked to take a survey about your experience with that store’s Facebook Messenger bot. This can be a great experience: it’s far less friction than going to a web link, the business can give you coupons or other gifts for completing the survey, and they can use your information to help craft a better experience for you over time.
For web products and web businesses, we have an on-site widget that you can use to ask your users anything, like their experience on your site, why they took certain actions, abandoned their cart, etc.
Forms stink for surveying, we think the conversation is where bots truly shine. Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts and feedback.
We’re also super early to be here so please excuse the bugs, we're working on them :-), but if you believe in the vision and would like to see where we go, please leave your email in the conversation box on our home page. Thanks so much! Also feel free to send me an email—nikkwong0@gmail.com
Thanks!
@nikkw0ng that's badass. Could see this being a hit in the high school senior portrait market. Would love to interview you for our people if you'd be into it. Shoot me an email - chris@swiftgalleries.com

Looks like an interesting solution to gather data from users. Already signed up for beta. Looking forward to give it a go! ;)
Love the direction here. Typeform published a blog post recently that incorporated this kind of thinking and it instantly clicked with me. https://www.typeform.com/blog/hu.... Anxious to test this sort of interactivity within content.
@brandonhull Agreed. Saw that a few weeks ago and thought it was incredible. Hope you like what we have to share when it's ready—thanks for the support :-)
@nikkw0ng You bet. I did a subtle, hacked-together version of what they did leveraging Gravity Forms to make a blog post interactive, but would love to replicate more closely!
@brandonhull Would actually love to see if you'd like to share! Yeah. I think what they're doing is super cool. Our target is a bit different, but excited to see both products coming out to create better experiences for the web.
@brandonhull I still think this is pretty neat. It may not be *as* polished as Typeform's—but having a layer of interaction makes UX more engaging. Tailoring the content to the user's personal profile is definitely a +1. I think there could be lot of room for a product that does something like that, awesome. :-)
@nikk wong: I'm planning a launch of a service soon enough, I signed up for the beta, I was already thinking of adding Intercom for the same purposes, but your approach seems more interesting and more in line with what I want (as AFAIK intercom only allows one question an no menu).
It would be great if I could have access to it in the next week or so
Formatic looks beautiful and well thought out. I would love to see this on other chat platforms (iMessage, Slack, etc). I can't wait to try out the beta.
