I built AskEngine because I was tired of reading a page and then opening a new tab to ask an AI about what I just read. Why not just talk to the page directly? It started as a tool I made for myself and turned into something I couldn't stop using. @astra_luna thanks for asking! More upgrades to the DOM structuring, direct in line multi page comparisons and other common sense upgrades to natural language parsing are all slated for upgrade.

Launching AskEngine — turn any website into a conversation

Hey Product Hunt!

I'm launching AskEngine tomorrow a Chrome extension that lets you ask questions about any webpage you're on. Articles, product pages, documentation, feeds just ask and get answers grounded in what's actually on the page.

The idea came from a simple frustration: I'd be reading something, have a question, and end up opening a new tab to copy-paste into an AI. Why not just talk to the page directly?
