Hi Product Hunt 👋
I built ContractDecoder after seeing how often freelancers and small-business owners receive important contracts without an easy way to understand what deserves attention before signing.
General-purpose AI can summarize a document, but users still need to create the right prompts, organize the answers, and connect them back to practical next steps. I wanted to build a more structured experience.
ContractDecoder turns an uploaded or pasted agreement into a plain-English review workspace covering:
• Key terms and obligations
• Deadlines and important dates
• Items that may deserve closer review
• Questions to ask the other party
• Example wording and discussion drafts
It is designed to help people move from “I’m not sure what this means” to “Here’s what I need to clarify.”
You can also open a sample NDA or creator-services agreement without uploading your own document.
ContractDecoder is free during early access, with no account or credit card required. It provides general information—not legal advice—and important findings should always be checked against the original agreement.
I’d especially appreciate feedback on:
1. Which contract terms do you find hardest to understand?
2. Does the workspace make the agreement easier to review?
3. What would help you feel better prepared before responding or signing?
Thanks for taking a look!
