I am Atakan. I build PappaChat from Trieste, in the north east of Italy.
It started with the businesses around me. A real estate agency owner showing me 40 unread WhatsApp messages at midnight. A hairdresser losing bookings because the phone rang while her hands were in someone's hair. They did not need an AI strategy. They needed someone to answer.
The model was never the hard part. Everything around it was: knowing that a table for 8 on Saturday needs a human, that the same assistant has to sound different on Instagram than on a phone call, that a bot inventing an opening hour is worse than no bot at all. So most of the last months went into the unglamorous parts. A knowledge base you can actually correct. Approval rules for bookings. A live chat where a human takes over mid conversation.
Two things I did not expect:
1. Turnkey beats self serve. Owners do not want a builder, they want it done. So we set it up for them.
2. The people who love the MCP server most are not developers. They are owners who now run their business by chatting with Claude.
