What would make you trust an AI to answer your own customers?

by

We launch tomorrow, and this is the question I keep coming back to.

Building this, the hardest part was never making the AI answer well. It was

deciding when it should refuse to. An assistant that confidently invents an

opening hour costs a business owner a real customer standing at a locked door

on a Sunday.

So I am curious, especially from anyone who runs a business or has sold to

people who do: where is your line? What would an AI have to get right, or

never get wrong, before you would let it talk to your customers unsupervised?
