Ruby launched here last month and a lot of you tried her. Some of you hit bugs and told us about them, and fixing them is an important part of what we've been doing since.
Quick recap for anyone new. Ruby sits in on your call and hands you the question worth asking, live, through a small pill only you can see. You tell her your goal beforehand. She listens while you talk. She writes the recap after. Not a note-taker, not a summarizer. A second mind in the room, thinking about what to ask next while you stay in the conversation.
We run her on every user interview, sales call, and investor meeting now.
What's better since launch: Bluetooth is fixed, so Ruby hears the whole call now, not just your side (this was the big one for AirPods users). Transcripts are reliable, she recovers on her own if audio drops. And you stay signed in, she updates in the background, one build runs on both Apple Silicon and Intel.
Setup note, since this tripped up a lot of people last time. You need Claude Code in your terminal, not just the Claude desktop app. Two different things. If your first prep chat threw an error, that was almost certainly it.
The moment that made it click for us came from the last thread. Sahil was on a pilot call, the customer said they were nervous about deploying with live customers, and Ruby told him to dig in. The real concern turned out to be account size. They ran the pilot with a smaller customer and closed it.
