Hey PH! I'm Konstantin, solo founder.
10 years as a 3D artist, zero code. In February I opened Cursor and typed "I want to build an iOS app." Never touched Xcode before that day.
The idea came from something small. I was fixing my bike (I ride through winter, don't ask) and asked an AI about tire pressure. It had no idea what bike I had, I'd told it a week earlier in a different chat. Every AI I used made me repeat myself like that, constantly.
Memory alone isn't rare anymore, most AI has decent memory now. What's still missing everywhere: an AI that reaches out first. Save something once as a Mark, and Thremark can write to you about it later, unprompted. Not a reminder you set. A message from an app that actually thought about you.

@thremark - This sounds too good to be true, but I'm genuinely impressed and keen to see how it works in practice. I do have a concern though, the subscription price point seems quite high for me at this stage. So being honest it relly depends on what features are available in the free tier to get a feel for how well it integrates into my daily workflow.
@codeandsea Fair concern, Brent. Free tier's not a stripped demo: 1,000 messages a month, 50 marks, 5 files, 10 min voice a day, 5 images a day, 30 web searches. No card needed. And the main thing, it writing to you first, works on free too, not locked behind a paywall. Good way to feel out the idea before you decide on price.
@thremark - I misunderstood, the free tier seems more than generous for a tool that promises such significant AI capabilities. I was under the impression the included credits were a one-off trial rather than resetting monthly. I agree it is a great way to test the waters before committing further. Best of luck with the launch. I plan to have a play over the weekend when I get some time to see what it can do. Thanks for the response.

Curious to know, if not on schedule, and not stimulated by external input, does it randomly reach out? does listen to conversations and reaches out to share more insight on whatever it is hearing? Does it track events on your phone and reaches out when needed. Interesting idea!
@rachid_abadli Good questions, Rachid. No calendar or phone event tracking, and no listening to anything outside the app, that would be a privacy nightmare and not what this is about. It runs on a daily check: if something you told it, a Mark, has gone quiet for about a week, it decides whether that is worth reaching out about. So not random, but not scheduled by you either, its own read of what you already shared. Thank you!
How does Thremark decide which information should become a Mark and which information should remain only in the chat history?

@konstantin_pliusnin Good question, Konstantin. It makes a call on each message: is this actually about you and worth carrying into future chats, like a preference, an ongoing project, a trip you're planning, or is it just part of this one conversation and doesn't need to stick around. The first kind becomes a Mark, the second just stays in that chat's history.
Been on it about a week now, memory part is decent, honestly. I tried exporting what chatgpt remembers about me a while back and it just gave me an error trying to pull it from my google account, kinda annoying. This one at least shows you the actual marks it saved somewhere in the app so you can see what's going on instead of just trusting it blindly
@nikita_samylov Thanks Nikita! That export error thing is exactly why I wanted marks visible in the app itself, not a black box you just have to trust. Glad it's holding up after a week.

@masterbek Yes, exactly that. Save something once as a Mark, and when it decides there is something worth saying about it, it sends you a push, no reminder set, no prompt from you. That's the core idea.
