Hi guys,
I built Ravecho (https://ravecho.com), a web app for real-time, spoken AI voice conversations. I've been working on it for around a year solo.
Instead of typing back and forth in a text box, you talk directly with AI portrayals of historical figures (Einstein, Lincoln, Cleopatra), classic literary characters, events, or cloned family voices.
Love the voice-first idea and the AI Dinner Party sounds like a blast. One thing that would make it stickier for me is letting users pause a conversation and pick it back up later from where it left off, so each historical figure remembers what we talked about before instead of resetting every session.
@vfictor_davisΒ It should remember your chat history. But there may have been a bug a few days ago with the logins. So this should be fixed now :)
Really cool concept, love that I can jump in without signing up. One thing I'd love to see is the option to upload a short clip or bio about a relative and have Ravecho turn them into a voice persona too, so you could actually "talk" to grandma at the family dinner party alongside the historical figures. That would make the family tree vision feel way more real.
@keaton_liuΒ That's a great suggestion. I will look into adding this in.
