I am excited to share that I have just officially graduated from the University of Melbourne, Bachelor of Science with a major in Data Science (Dec 2025)! 🎓
Instead of taking the traditional path, I spent my days translating my passion for data into a production-ready reality. Today, I’m launching StayLive-HotelPulse—a platform built to bridge the gap between vague reviews and actionable travel intelligence.
As a solo developer, I wanted to build more than just a search tool. Your 24/7 AI Travel Strategist! StayLive acts as your dedicated consultant:
• Custom Itineraries: Generate full travel plans in seconds, from Tokyo food tours to family trips in Melbourne.
• The Travel "Oracle": Ask anything—from visa requirements and tipping customs to kid-friendly hotel amenities.
• Smart Comparisons & Saved Context: Analyze live data to pick the best hotel "right now" and pick up exactly where you left off.
Real-Time "Ground Truth" Data 📡
We go beyond star ratings to provide the granular details travelers actually care about:
• Live Updates: See guest-reported status on WiFi speeds, AC, noise levels, and construction before you check in.
• Severity Alerts: Instantly know if a closed pool or broken elevator is a minor warning or a total dealbreaker.
• 11+ Essential Categories: Comprehensive data on power, water, cleaning, and more—all reported by real people.
Scaling the Impact 📈
Since the beta launch, StayLive has rapidly expanded its data intelligence:
• 🏨 290+ Hotels already indexed and analyzed.
• 📊 1000+ Effective Reviews synthesized into actionable insights.
We are starting our journey in Melbourne, but our roadmap is global. I hope to bring the 'Pulse' analysis to every city in the world one day!
