@masump Not at all. It handles messy, outdated sites surprisingly well. In fact, that’s where Rewebly shines the most, the transformation is so dramatic that the before-and-after effect hits even harder.

Hey Team, I was quite impressed by your app when I first checked it out. However, I noticed an issue that I believe you should consider. Many of us use DNS providers like Cloudflare, and when I attempted to crawl my site using your platform, I was always presented with a validation page to ensure I was a human. Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to validate this within the interface. I suggest you consider a workaround, such as allowing interaction within the actual window so that users can validate their humanity and proceed with the process. I would love to get more feedback, but I couldn’t get past that issue. Unfortunately, I would have proceeded further, but then I was presented with payment options. Without being able to truly understand what your product can do, I decided to decline at this time. I know this is a temporary issue, probably one that was unforeseen, but I believe you’re going to encounter many people who have sites protected in this way. I’ve disabled a few functions to see if I could get it to work, but it didn’t. Ultimately, I would suggest implementing a different type of crawling technology that won’t restrict your ability to actively pull sites. I look forward to seeing what your team can do. I wish you the best of luck, and I really like the idea and interface so far. Keep it up!

@matthew_putz Thank you for the thoughtful feedback. Really appreciate you taking the time to test it out and explain the issue.

You’re absolutely right about Cloudflare and similar DNS protections. Some sites trigger human-verification pages that our crawler can’t currently bypass, which blocks the process.

The good news is we’re already working on a solution. The goal is full compatibility with protected sites, and we’re exploring both better crawling tech and an interactive mode that would let you pass the verification step directly inside the interface.

As for the paywall, that’s a fair point too. We’ll make sure people can fully understand what Rewebly can do before committing.

@shahmeer_baloch1 Some websites have anti-bot protections that make it harder for us to process them. Try another URL and it should work smoothly. We’re actively working to support every kind of site so this won’t be an issue in the future.
