I like how it will find a specific user. Do you use the Reddit's API for that?
Shareyl
@busmark_w_nika Yes, it does incorporate the Reddit API, but the API only will glean a limited amount of recent posts, so I use other data sources that cache older reddit data.

@gavin_cho1 ahhh, okay, because I have heard that Reddit API esp. for AI comanies is pretty pricy :D

@george_esther Definitely planning to! I started with r/wallstreetbets as they have the most organized stock analysis pitches from what I've seen.

I've always felt that for all the memes, there are some genuinely insightful users on WSB, but it's impossible to remember who they are or if their past calls were just luck.
The ability to track a specific redditor's accuracy over time is exactly what I've needed. It moves the discussion from pure hype to a bit more accountability.

@chrishicken Yea! I feel the same way. There is definitely some solid insight from social media chatter - the key is finding it.

Chatter gives market impacts from Reddit! Just curious how accurate is Redditor investors average level lol
Shareyl
@cruise_chen It would be interesting to find an average of all redditors on the sub LOL. I might try to aggregate the data somehow. Thanks for the suggestion, Cruise! But to answer your question, I'm not sure - that's why I made this project haha
Hey @gavin_cho, congrats on launching Chatter! 🚀 Your approach to dual search functionality—allowing users to track both specific stock tickers and individual Reddit users' performance—is brilliant. I really appreciate how it solves the problem of identifying credible retail investors on r/wallstreetbets. Excited to see where you take this next. Best of luck with today's launch!

@gavin_cho @kjosephabraham Thanks for the kind words, my guy <3
Wow, I've been waiting for a tool like this for a while. It's one thing to read a compelling thesis on r/wallstreetbets, but it's another to actually vet the person behind it.
What I really like is the ability to quickly check a redditor's track record, which saves a ton of time on initial screening. This is definitely going to be my first stop before I even think about doing a deeper dive on a ticker I see mentioned there.
