Hey Product Hunt, I’m Krishna, a student entrepreneur at IIT Bombay, and I’m excited to share Fin-o-ji with you today! Why did we build this? Because insurance in India (and globally) is confusing, stressful, and often feels one-sided. Policies are full of jargon, claims are messy, and in emergencies, people are left scrambling. We saw this problem firsthand in our families and decided to build a personal advocate — not another insurance seller. What’s new and unique about Fin-o-ji? Most platforms focus on selling policies. Fin-o-ji is different — we don’t sell. Instead, we: X-ray policies into a simple Report Card (so you know coverage, gaps, and risks in minutes). Act as a claims co-pilot, guiding you step by step during one of the most stressful times. Provide an Emergency Mode, so in a crisis you get instant guidance, contacts, and a digital health card — all in one tap. It’s built on empathy, not sales. What we’re most proud of in this launch: That in just a few minutes of onboarding, users experience a real “wow” moment: their messy policy documents turn into a clear, human-friendly insurance health score. For us, that’s proof we’re solving a pain point that’s been ignored for too long. We’d love to hear from you Which part of insurance do you find the most confusing? Would you find value in having an AI advocate on your side instead of just an agent? Excited to get your feedback! — Krishna
