They deliberately don't show the person wearing the snowboard googles? 😅 Or am I missing something here?

@sentry_co right? like im confused how the headset captures their body as well - this just seems like regular old zoom

@justin_henry1 I think This will be no mask meetings, or all avatar style metaverse. Hybrid won't work. Like half the people will look like their on afterski 😅

@jsteneros I’ve heard there’s at least one other visionOS app launching here today 😏😜☺️ But yeah, it’s a super exciting space and I’m excited see more apps announced over the coming days and weeks 🙌 Zoom on visionOS looks super cool!

@manuelkehl I guess I need to get one for myself soon. Really curious to learn more about designing apps for visionOS

Small question: are all apps for Vision Pro using the same UI library/system? Not much Zoom branding left. It's a cool idea nonetheless.

Interesting, but a regular rectangular UI in VR doesn't add much to the immersion in the meetings. It's just an extra weight literally on your shoulders xD Would still try it nonetheless

Just to be a devil’s advocate here, how does this app surpass Apple’s FaceTime? I think, in FaceTime, you can have a FaceTime avatar. Here, as others have mentioned, I’m not sure how others would see you.
