Hi Product Hunt! 🎉 We’re excited to announce the release of our Wiki View! This new view is a knowledge sharing and content management platform that can enhance collaboration and connect you to a ton of valuable data. We wanted our users to be able to work with their content in multiple ways, so, on top of a Kanban board, calendar, mind-map, list, spreadsheet-like table, and hierarchy view, this update will allow you to use Zenkit to publish wiki sites with your existing data. Zenkit’s wiki view enables you to: ✨Organize and manage data in an entirely new way 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦Easily co-create and co-edit content with wiki members 🖇️Connect to and embed any items, files, or collections you have access to 🔍Navigate the wiki according to your preference with different field types 🎨Customize the landing page to suit your needs 📸Embed media from around the web So, if you’ve ever wanted to create, collaborate, and curate content all in one place, then Zenkit’s wiki view is for you! If you’d like to give it a try, you can sign up for a free Zenkit account today 👍If you’ve been with us for a while, tell us what you think! We’re excited to see what you’ll build and share with our wiki view! P.S. I'm doing a Product Hunt AMA this week! If you have any other questions you'd like to ask, send them here: https://www.producthunt.com/make...
Jessica Ludwig
Hey there, can we use all field types? Or are there restrictions?
Martin Welker
@jlu Great question, Jessica! The wiki is just a normal collection, so you can use all the same fields you normally would. Only one text field is used for the wiki article text (you can select which field in the view settings), and you can optionally show other fields like labels, members, and files, or meta fields like created by, created at, etc :)
Oleg Gcod
It looks really interesting. Anyone knows what's the difference to Notion or Nuclino?
Martin Welker
@oleg_gcod Great question Oleg :) The main difference is the flexibility Zenkit offers - it's not just a wiki, but also a kanban board, calendar, mind map, table, to-do list, etc etc. The filter is also really powerful and makes it much easier to find exactly what you need.
Rostane Gribi
A very interesting feature to slowly switch from Evernote with a task manager.
Siobhan O'Rorke
@rostane_gribi Thanks so much Rostane! We're definitely planning to create more views/options for note taking like Evernote in the future too :)
bogdanmind
Love zenkit, replaced google doc and our CRM. Very friendly support
Martin Welker
@bogdanmind1 Thanks so much Bogdan! Glad you like it.
Felix Marmann
This is awesome! What made you decide to make a wiki view?
Martin Welker
@felix_marmann2 Hey Felix! We were already using an alpha version of it for our Knowledge Base and had a lot of internal info sharing/onboarding collections. We figured that other people would want to be able to do the same, but in a more readable format :) Have you given it a go already?
Felix Marmann
@martinwelker no, not yet. But I will!
Felix Marmann
Also I was wondering: Is it included in the free tier or do I have to upgrade my account to be able to use it?
Siobhan O'Rorke
@felix_marmann2 It's available in the free tier :)
Felix Marmann
@siororke awesome! I will definitely check it out. :)
Christoph Wessendorf
Great initiative! We have been waiting for a Wiki within Zenkit!!! Many thanks!
Martin Welker
@christoph_wessendorf Thank you Christoph!
Jonas Wi
Hey guys, thank you for releasing this. Can I make my wiki page public or do you need to be logged in to Zenkit to see it?
Siobhan O'Rorke
@jonas_wi Hey Jonas :) Both work! You can publish the wiki using the 'Published Collection' add-on, or just keep it private to use as an internal wiki :)
Hugo PERCOT
Zenkit is one of the most convenient tool for my project
Martin Welker
@hugo_percot1 Thanks Hugo! 😊
