zen-cli is a macOS focus CLI that quits distracting apps in one command. Run zen to close all apps not on your allow-list and reset your desktop before deep work. Features: - One command to quit all non-allowed apps - Persistent allow-list via zen add / zen remove - Flags: --allow, --allow-only, --disallow - Safe preview with --dry-run and zen list - 100% local, no external data sent - Install: brew install gawasa29/tap/zen-cli

I built zen-cli because I kept getting distracted by open apps whenever I sat down for deep work. I wanted a single command to immediately clear my desktop of distractions without fiddling with a GUI. zen-cli is opinionated but flexible — you control exactly which apps stay open via a persistent allow-list, and you can always preview what would be closed before committing with --dry-run. Happy to answer any questions!
