What would make you switch from Linktree?

We launched YourSitee today after more than two years of building it with a small team in Hungary. We wrote a blog post (a very good one actually):

We don't want polite launch-day feedback. We want to understand what would actually make someone leave Linktree, Beacons, or a personal website builder and move their page somewhere else.

Would it be better customization? Faster setup? More useful widgets? Better analytics? A cleaner design? Or something we still haven't thought about?

YourSitee already lets you build with 20+ widgets, import an existing Linktree page with AI, and see what people click. But features alone don't make people switch.

What would need to be true for you to move your own page?

Firstly, huge congrats on your launch!! 🎉

For me, switching would mostly come down to better customization without making things complicated.

Linktree is already easy, so another tool needs to give me a clear reason to move. Better design freedom, useful analytics, and an easy migration from my existing page would probably do it.

We'd really love for you to try it! The Linktree importer we launched yesterday should make migration much easier by giving you a ready starting point instead of making you rebuild everything manually. We'd be genuinely curious to hear how the customization and analytics feel once you've tried it :))

I'd switch for a product that solves a specific problem better, not just because it has more features.That's the same mindset I had while building Ledger. People don't switch tools unless the new one clearly saves them time or helps them earn more.

 Completely agree, Davis. More features alone are never enough to make someone switch. For us, the real goal is to make building a page faster, give people more control over how it looks, and help them understand what actually performs. Hey Andras, congrats on the launch! Since you asked for real feedback and not just polite praise: the absolute best way to win against Linktree is targeting student builders and side-hustlers. Linktree feels corporate and bloated now.

A mobile-first, clean bio tool like YourSitee is perfect for Gen Z creators. I'm 19, building Flames Nova (a digital ecosystem for students in Nigeria), and our community would eat this up if it solves the 'clunky mobile editing' problem Linktree has. Upvoted and cheering you guys on!
