This is an AI handwriting agent. It can:
Understand paper: Automatically understand segment regions
Imitate handwriting: Reproduce an individual’s handwriting.
Conversational control: Use natural language to specify content
High realism: Generate images that were not identified as AI-generated.
In the future, embodied intelligence will need to do more than understand paper. It will also need to write in the real, physical world. I want to provide the underlying technology for that capability.

👋 I'm Xander, the maker of YM Write.
Why I built it: AI can already read paper, but it still can't write on it the way a person does. Handwriting is personal, and most "handwriting fonts" look obviously fake. I wanted to build an agent that truly understands a page and writes on it in your own hand.
What YM Write does:
✍️ Understands paper: automatically detects and segments the regions of a page
🖋️ Imitates handwriting: learns and reproduces an individual's handwriting
💬 Conversational control: just tell it in plain language what to write and where
📄 High realism: output that looks genuinely handwritten
Longer term, I believe embodied intelligence will need to write in the real, physical world, not just understand it. YM Write is my first step toward building the underlying technology for that.
