When you need to reset, what do you reach for first?

by

Most wellness apps ask for more attention at exactly the moment I want less: an account, a feed, a streak, another decision.

I built Yixiu around three small entry points:

• choose one of 14 real nature soundscapes
• set a gentle 15, 30, or 60-minute timer
• follow a one-minute water-breathing cue

No account or ads. The web version is here:

I’m trying to understand real behavior rather than assume: when you’re overstimulated, unfocused, or unable to sleep, what do you reach for first—sound, a timer, or a breathing cue? What makes that choice work for you?
