Hi everyone! My AirPods always felt like cheap generic earbuds on my PC. I couldn't switch ANC, ear detection didn't work, and as soon as an app used the mic, music turned into phone-call quality.

WPods fixes that. You get noise control (including Adaptive), ear detection, battery for both buds and the case, conversation awareness, press-and-hold settings, and an iPhone-style popup when your AirPods are nearby. The mic keeps your audio in stereo, and you can pick from over a dozen noise-suppression models for it, all running on your own PC.

One thing you should know before installing: WPods uses its own drivers, and they aren't Microsoft-signed yet (that costs more than a free project makes and is simply unreasonable for a project I mostly wrote to fix my own issues). So Windows needs Test Mode on and Secure Boot off. The installer walks you through it, and uninstalling can switch Test Mode back off. Please have your BitLocker recovery key ready before you start - I would not want you to lose your data.

Let me know which AirPods you use and what's missing, or if you encounter any issues - feedback is much appreciated!

Cheers
