Hey everyone 👋 I’m the maker of WorkPing — thank you for checking it out. This product came from a personal frustration. When I was freelancing, the hardest part wasn’t shipping code. It was writing weekly client updates. Every week I had to: • remember what I worked on • turn commits into client-friendly language • avoid overpromising • make it sound structured and professional It felt repetitive and mentally draining. So I built WorkPing to turn real GitHub activity (including private repos) into clear, conservative, client-safe progress updates. The goal isn’t to automate relationships. It’s to reduce friction while keeping trust intact. V1 is intentionally simple: Select repo → choose timeframe → generate update → review → copy. No automation. No spam. No inflated claims. I’d genuinely love feedback on: • Does writing updates feel like a burden for you? • Would you trust a tool like this? • What would make it truly valuable? Thanks for being here — I’m building this in public and learning as I go.
