Hey Product Hunt 👋
I’m Egor, an engineering and product leader living in the Netherlands. After a few years of learning Dutch, I kept running into the same problem: I thought I knew a word, then I’d forget it and how to use it in a sentence. Existing apps didn’t give me enough control over my vocabulary or enough smart practice around those details.
So I built Woordje to fix that pain: * Your own word library - add exactly the nouns, verbs and phrases you want to learn. * Works with your native language - Woordje shows every word in Dutch, plus a translation in the language you already think in, so new words connect to what you already know. * AI‑graded exercises - recall words, practice articles (de/het), verb forms, separable verbs, plurals and sentence order. * Progress - see which words are mastered, which still need work, and how your accuracy improves over time. * Invite & share - share your library with friends and invite them to learn alongside you.
Today’s launch is the first public step. I’d love your feedback: * Does Woordje solve a real problem for you as a language learner? * Which practice modes or stats are most useful? * What would you add or change next?
You can try it free at https://woordje.app - if you’re learning Dutch (or thinking about it), I’d really appreciate your thoughts and feature requests in the comments. 🙏

the de/het practice is exactly what i needed, most apps ignore that stuff. noticed my streak actually stuck for once because the exercises feel quick enough to squeeze into a coffee break.
