Why we built Wonder Ad Lab: from rough idea to finished visual

by•

Wonder Ad Lab started from a simple frustration: getting a poster, social cover, presentation or brand visual made should not require a long chain of unclear messages, hidden pricing and lost reference files. We wanted to build a small, bilingual creative studio where the path from an early idea to a finished design is visible from the beginning.

What we make

Our current work includes posters, social-media covers, e-commerce visuals, presentation slides, logo and brand design, and other custom creative requests. The studio serves both Chinese- and English-speaking customers. Instead of forcing every request into one template, customers can choose a service, describe the goal, select or write their preferred size and style, and upload reference files privately.

How the workflow works

1. Choose the type of creative work and see the starting price.

2. Write a structured brief with the content, dimensions, visual direction and delivery needs.

3. Upload reference images or working files when they help explain the idea.

4. Submit the order through the same system used by the website and our apps.

5. We review the brief, use AI where it genuinely helps with exploration, and keep a human review step before delivery.

6. The customer receives the finished files and can request revisions through the order flow.

Why bilingual matters

A good creative brief is often difficult even in a person's first language. Wonder Ad Lab keeps the important instructions and service information available in both Chinese and English so customers can explain what they need more naturally. Our goal is to make the experience professional without making it feel cold or complicated.

What we are learning

Clear examples, honest prices and a simple order form build more trust than a page full of technical promises. The coffee and skincare visuals in our Product Hunt gallery show two different directions we can work with, but the process behind them matters just as much as the final image: understand the purpose, explore a direction, refine it, check the details, and export for the right platform.

What comes next

We are continuing to improve the website, the customer order experience and a small family of focused apps, including AI News, the vocabulary-learning app Word Island, and the voice-first journal Suishuiji. We will share those products and individual case studies separately so each one can be understood on its own.

We would love feedback on one question: when you hire a small creative studio online, what makes the process feel trustworthy before you place the first order?
