Hi. I am 22. Solo Founder, no coding experience, just a maddening and relentless drive to create. I started building WITHIN U because I got tired of watching my own potential slowly disappear beneath addiction, escapism, and destructive patterns. What hurt the most was not just the addiction itself, but the feeling of constantly betraying the person I knew I could become. Every relapse felt like watching the stronger version of myself lose ground inch by inch. Most recovery tools I came across felt sterile, lifeless, or purely analytical. But addiction does not feel clinical when you are living through it. It feels emotional, psychological, spiritual. It feels like an internal war. So I wanted to build something different. WITHIN U is a gamified sobriety and wellness platform designed to make the inner struggle visible. I wanted to give shape and identity to the conflicting forces inside all of us — discipline vs impulse, purpose vs escapism, higher self vs self-destruction. The app turns recovery into an evolving journey: • streak systems • visual progression • focus modes • blockers • psychological insights • immersive environments • symbolic characters representing the internal battle I had absolutely no coding experience when I began. Over the last 6 months I taught myself design, development, UI systems, animation workflows, backend architecture, and everything else needed to bring the idea to life. Most days were 14–16 hour workdays. There is still a massive amount left to build, improve, and refine, but for the first time in a long time I feel like I am building something deeply meaningful from my own pain instead of being consumed by it.
