Do designers actually need wireframing on mobile, or is it just a nice idea?

by

I’m building a small product called WireKit — a mobile-first tool that lets you quickly create wireframes using prebuilt components and simple drag-and-drop.

The idea is to help designers capture and structure UI ideas when they’re away from their laptop.

I’d really love honest feedback from designers:

  • When would you actually use a tool like this?

  • What do you currently do when you get a UI idea on the go?

  • What would make a mobile wireframing tool genuinely useful for you?

But I’m trying to validate something important:
Is mobile wireframing something designers actually need in real workflows, or do most people just wait until they’re back on Figma or use notes/paper sketches instead?
