Which returned product should you fix first? Share a small sample.
If you run an apparel or home-goods store, share up to 10 anonymized SKU/reason totals and I'll help choose one product issue to investigate. The review is free and happens in this thread; no Whyset account is needed.
Fictional example, in USD:
LINEN-01 | too small | 4 units | 236 refunded | 28 handling
MUG-02 | arrived damaged | 2 units | 58 refunded | 16 handling
The linen item has more refunded value. A useful first check is whether the garment measurements match the listing. The mug suggests checking packaging and damage photos. Neither row proves the cause, and the 294 in refunds is not recoverable profit.
For your sample, use this format:
Product alias | return reason | units returned | total refunds | total handling cost
Include the return period, keep currencies separate, and leave customer and order details out. If handling cost is unknown, say so. A return rate also needs shipments matched to the same orders; dividing this month's returns by this month's shipments can mislead.
I'll reply with one priority to investigate, the evidence still missing, and a small change you can check in a later review.
