Cons:

hmm...none

Best video conference tool I've ever used! Skip those first 10 minutes of meetings on Skype that people just say "Can you hear me? How about now?", and just start talking!

I really love the software and we're using it at picksaas to do video conferencing. The best thing about is it that everybody can enter with just one link, like the simplicity!

Pros:

meetings in just one click, simple and user-friendly, screen sharing

Cons:

none so far

Appear.in is definitely one of the best video conferencing software out there. It is simple to use, connection happens with only one click and I can lock the room if I don't want other guests to enter. Happy to be the Appear.in's user in our daily work at picksaas.com :)

Love that you can generate a meeting room on the spot. And the meeting name generator is quite clever!

Pros:

Great, no-sign in backup for Hangouts.

Cons:

None.

Used to like it a lot and used to use it a lot. As it has gotten extremely limited in the last couple of months we found better alternatives although we still like it and use it from time to time

Our team loves it because it's simple and works for everyone. I personally like that it shows all of the participants in the same size by default, instead of zooming just on the speaker and thumbnailing everyone else. That makes it feel more connected with the group when talking.

Pros:

Simplest way to spontaneously video chat with your team, good audio/video quality, supplemented by a mobile app

Cons:

Needs more stickers, limited to 12 participants

When there is a sound coming in from one person, other people's input volume is lowered. This is quite annoying because when there's a noise in your background, you can't hear other people talking because there is sound coming in from your mic (which is just a noise in the background). So you need to mute yourself when you are in a noisy environment.

Pros:

customizable URL, just by signing up, you can own a URL

Cons:

Too over-tech mic input algorithm.
