Muse, Dot, Instinct- it feels like every week there's a new personal AI agent taking over the news. I built something that was on my list for a while, and finally open-sourced it: a WhatsApp AI agent SDK. Your model, your memory, your data all from your local machine; easy installation via npm. Hi, I'm Chetan. I wanted to ask my calendar a question in WhatsApp, not open another app or rebuild the same webhook and memory setup each time. That idea sat on my list for months, so I made Wappy and open-sourced it. Bigger vision - Bring your number, select agents from our hosted marketplace, deploy agents on your WhatsApp - personal productivity agents to CRM style businesses, all from WhatsApp. The CLI scaffolds an agent in about a minute. Connecting WhatsApp is a separate Meta Cloud API setup, and if you choose a hosted model, it receives your prompts. The agent and memory run on your machine. There's an optional Gmail/Calendar example if you connect your own Google account.
