I built WealthTicker because every Indian fund site I used was a distributor with a screener bolted on. The "top rated" funds were the ones paying commission, and the numbers were whatever the factsheet said last quarter. So I started from the data instead. WealthTicker pulls the free public sources — AMFI's daily NAV file, SEBI's own scheme filings, AMFI's quarterly AUM feeds — and computes every metric itself from 21M+ NAV points: CAGR, rolling returns, volatility, Sharpe, Sortino, alpha/beta vs Nifty 50, up/down capture, drawdown episodes with the date each fund actually recovered. If a number is on the screen, the methodology page tells you exactly how it was calculated. What you can do with it: Screen 14,000+ schemes with filters, a free-form query bar (expense < 1 AND 3y > 15), or plain English via Ask AI Compare up to 4 funds side by side with category medians, benchmark lines, cost, consistency and stock-level overlap — because two "different" funds often hold the same 30 stocks Import your portfolio from a CAS PDF and get a look-through x-ray: which stocks you actually own and through how many funds, sector concentration, a diversification score, LTCG harvesting suggestions, exit-load and lock-in windows, and the Regular→Direct expense drag you're paying Plan a basket — answer eight questions and get a goal-driven, de-risking allocation of 4–5 Direct-plan funds, with a written rule beside every choice. Deterministic, no model call, no "recommendations" you can't audit Learn the thing — 47 glossary terms, 103 guides across ten modules, quizzes and a final test, and 42 calculators (SIP, SWP, retirement, ELSS, PPF vs MF, capital gains, financial freedom)
