What makes batch mastering actually useful?

by

I’m getting Waveroom ready for launch and would love a reality check from people who regularly finish several tracks at once.

The workflow came from a simple frustration: a folder of demos can contain wildly different loudness, peaks and tonal balance, but opening a full production session for every rough track is slow. Waveroom analyzes each WAV or MP3 in the browser, handles a batch in one pass, and lets you switch between the original and mastered result for direct A/B comparison.

The question I keep coming back to is: what matters most in a batch workflow — consistent loudness across songs, fast A/B comparison, privacy for unreleased files, or simply fewer clicks?

If you work with album drafts, AI-generated tracks or creator audio, I’d be interested in hearing where your current process gets annoying.
