Hi Product Hunt 👋 I'm Ashik, a solo developer building small, private browser tools from Bangladesh. Watchbird is my second one. The problem: you refresh the same page for two weeks — a price, a restock, a job listing, an appointment slot — and still miss the moment it changes. Tools for this already exist. But every one of them fetches your pages from their servers, keeps a copy, and charges you $10–50 every month for the privilege. I didn't want to hand a company my shopping list and my job search. So Watchbird does it the other way around. Click any element on any page. Optionally tell it what matters in plain words — "only if the price drops below $130." Your browser does the checking, and Chrome's built-in on-device AI decides whether a change is worth interrupting you and writes a one-line summary. Nothing you watch is uploaded anywhere. There's no account. And because there are no servers to rent, Pro is a one-time $14 instead of a subscription. The honest trade-off: Watchbird only checks while your browser is open. That's the price of keeping everything local. If you need 24/7 monitoring with your computer off, Visualping or Distill are genuinely better for you, and I'd rather say that here than refund you later. Free tier is 10 watches, forever — no card, no signup. I'd love your feedback, especially on pages where it doesn't work. I'm here all day and I'll reply to every comment.
