Wallie can now PLAY Minecraft — not just watch your screen 🎮

When we launched, Wallie was an open-source AI streamer that watches your screen, hears your audio, and reacts in character.

Now it does something I'm genuinely excited about: it PLAYS.

Wallie plays Minecraft survival live and unscripted — it mines, hunts for iron, crafts, fights, and tries to survive the night, all on its own. No human at the controls, no script. And it talks the whole way through, in character, reacting to what's actually happening.

Two things make it special:

🎥 A smooth, human-like camera — no robotic snapping or teleport-cam. It genuinely reads like a person playing.

🧠 Grounded commentary — what it says matches what it's really doing (its real inventory, health, the mob chasing it), not guessed from a blurry frame. So it's believable, not a screen-reader on loop.

It's fully open-source and runs on your machine, with any persona and any LLM.

Now the honest part: this is early. It's effectively a beta — it plays impressively on its own, but it's not flawless yet. It can occasionally get stuck or make an odd call, and some moments may need a little manual nudge. I'm a solo dev and I'm improving it fast, almost daily. I'd rather show it real and rough than fake-perfect.
