Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Tyrone, a computer engineering student, and I built FramePort while working on Tomato, my custom 32-bit computer with a dual-LUT ALU running on an Artix-7 FPGA. I kept switching between VS Code and OBS whenever I needed to inspect Tomato's HDMI output. I wanted to see the output right beside my assembly code, so I built FramePort. What started as a personal tool became my first VS Code extension. It now supports compatible HDMI capture cards, cameras, and other local video sources.
