Vouch - Hire the best talent fast. Get hired without the job hunt

by•
LinkedIn is where applications go to die: candidates send hundreds and hear nothing back, while founders sift through 600 applicants to find the three worth a call. Vouch fixes both sides by interviewing and backchanneling every candidate, vetting every company, and only making introductions we'd stake our name on, across SF, NYC, London and Boston.

Hey Product Hunt, I'm Firas, founder of Vouch. If you've ever sent a hundred applications into LinkedIn and heard nothing back, or spent a week of your startup's life screening a stack of resumes that all looked the same, I built this for you.

At my last startup I tried to hire a founding engineer and found plenty of good people, but I had no reliable way to tell which of them were right for us, so I spent most of my weeks on first calls with candidates who were never going to work out. Every founder I asked had the same problem, and when a friend's YC company asked me to run their founding engineer search, other founders started asking me to do the same for them. That is how Vouch became a company.

Who it's for

Top talent and the companies that want them, from early-stage startups to big tech, mainly in SF, NYC, London and Boston.

How we vet companies

We vouch for both sides, so before we take on a search we meet the founders, confirm the role, the compensation and the team, and make sure it is a place we would send someone we respect. Candidates only ever hear about companies we have already vetted, which is why they take our introductions seriously.

How we vet candidates

We interview every candidate ourselves and backchannel them with people who have actually worked with them, then our matching engine builds a profile from all of it: what they have built, the stack they work in, the team size and stage they want, their pay floor, where they will work and why they left their last role. The engine scores that profile against every open role, requirement by requirement, drops any match that misses on something that matters, and leaves us with the few worth a final read before anyone is introduced.

For companies

You send us the role and that is the last piece of work you do, because we handle sourcing, interviews and screening and come back with a short list of people we would stake our name on, each scored against your must-haves. You only pay when you hire.

For candidates

You have one conversation with us and then nothing else to do, since you only hear from us when a vetted company has a role that clears the engine, and the first message already names the company and the salary. Your employer never sees your name unless you say yes, and it is free for you.

If you're hiring engineers or go-to-market people, or quietly looking for your next role, I'd love to hear from you, and I'll be here all day answering questions.
