Clipstay - Clipboard history for Chrome that never loses your clips
by•
Clipstay remembers everything you copy in Chrome, so a link, an address or a code snippet is never lost again. Open it with one shortcut, search your history instantly, pin what you reuse and copy any clip back in one click. Text copied in other apps is added when you open it. Everything stays on your device: no account, no servers, no analytics. Password fields and Incognito are never saved. Free plan: your 100 latest clips plus 5 pinned, and export is always free.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm Viktor, an independent developer, and Clipstay is my first Chrome extension.
I built it because I kept losing things I'd copied: a tracking number, an address, a code snippet. I wanted a clipboard history that lives entirely on my own computer and stays out of the way.
What it does:
- Saves every copy and cut on web pages automatically
- Instant search, pins for clips you reuse, one-click paste back
- Opens with Alt+Shift+V (Ctrl+Shift+V on Mac)
- 100% on-device: no account, no servers, no analytics
- Never captures password fields or Incognito windows; you can exclude sites or pause it anytime
- Export to JSON or CSV whenever you like
The free plan keeps your 100 most recent clips plus up to 5 pinned ones, and export is always free.
I'd really appreciate your feedback. What's missing for your workflow?
