Vault CMS - Use Obsidian as a CMS for your Astro website

by
Vault CMS Is an open-source headless content management system that turns Obsidian into a publishing platform for Astro. It's injectable into any Astro theme. Install with CLI or by cloning on GitHub. Then it's just a matter of opening your install directory as an Obsidian vault. The wizard walks you through the rest.

Hey Product Hunt! I'm David, the creator of Vault CMS. I love using Obsidian for note-taking, and have also been using it in conjunction with git and Astro for my own personal blogging. After doing so for nearly a year, I discovered how to make Obsidian plugins and was hooked. Six months ago I began creating plugins that automated the process and started creating a preconfigured Obsidian vault that became a plug-and-play solution with Astro. Since then, I've rolled this out to our company website and a few client websites, and it's working great. The documentation site is up, so check it out if you're interested. You can also create an issue or a pull request if you'd like to see new features added or report issues. This open source project is a labor of love, and I'm so excited to share it with you now.
