We build Shopify stores for clients at Enstacked, and kept hitting the same wall: setting up variant swatches meant hours of manually mapping color names to images, or skipping swatches entirely because the setup wasn't worth the time. Varn started as an internal tool to solve that for our own projects. The one click AI setup came out of testing on real catalogs, where color names rarely match exactly what a shopper expects to see, so we needed something that could look at the image and figure it out. It also plugs into your theme's existing add to cart flow instead of replacing it, since we didn't want merchants to have to rebuild anything to use it.
