Unstuck: Private Mental Reset App - A private mental reset app that doesn’t track you

by
Unstuck is a completely free, private mental reset app for the moments when your mind feels overloaded, scattered, stuck, or just needs somewhere to put things. Journal, check in, clear your head, build simple routines, and set reminders without creating an account. There are no subscriptions, ads, streaks, social feeds, or behavioral tracking. Your journal stays on your device unless you choose to export it. Built by a psychiatrist-led team as part of The Shrink Network.

Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’m a psychiatrist, and one thing that’s always bothered me about wellness apps is how often the business model conflicts with the thing they’re supposed to help with. A lot of apps want you to open them more, build longer streaks, generate more data, subscribe, engage, and keep coming back. We built Unstuck around almost the opposite idea. Sometimes you just need somewhere to put what’s in your head, figure out what you’re feeling, choose one next step, or remind yourself about something later. Then you should be able to close the app and get on with your life. So Unstuck is free. There’s no account, no subscription, no ads, no social feed, and no behavioral tracking. Journal entries stay on your device unless you decide to export them. It includes private journaling, quick check-ins, mental resets, routines, reminders, grounding tools, and other small tools for those moments when you feel stuck, scattered, overwhelmed, or mentally full. We’re still early, and I’d genuinely love feedback—not just on features, but on the idea itself. What would make an app like this useful enough to keep on your phone without turning it into another app demanding your attention?
