Would you use a "race against your past self" feature?

One feature we're experimenting with in TypingBIRDS is Ghost Racing, where you compete against your previous best typing run.

Instead of competing against strangers, you're competing against your own progress.

Do you think this is more motivating than traditional leaderboards?
