Hello PH! 👋 Why? The pandemic taught me something: It does not really matter from where you work in tech. I've been able to attend an accelerator and grow my team remotely from the small town of Nykarleby. Where? Nykarleby. In 1995, it was ranked the happiest town in Finland (the happiest country) by the capital's newspaper Helsingin Sanomat. The town's primary language is Swedish, as we're in the minority Swedish-speaking region of Finland. English fluency is high. For a population of 7 000, I think it's quite impressive that we've got our own co-working space and vibrant startup community: Nykarleby Innovation Center (NIC) https://nykarlebyinnovationcente... How? I happen to have inherited a small cabin in Socklot (a village 5km north of Nykarleby), which is mostly sitting unused. I'm looking to do some small renovations on it, but it's already got some serious charm. Fireplace, kitchen & sauna. Cows in the front-yard. And a fiber connection just waiting to be connected. Go for a walk in the vast forest. Take the electric bike to the harbour. Chop some wood. Light the fireplace. Turn on the sauna. Fiber connection. Focus. Silence. NIC in Nykarleby for co-working. - Let me know if you are (or know someone who is) interested! The first beta testing would likely be in the summer of 2022. Doesn't matter where you are, as flights should be a thing again next year ✈️
