Hey Product Hunt! I made Truffle Journal because I wanted to tell ChatGPT “save this” and have it show up as an editable note on my iPhone.

I use ChatGPT a lot, and I kept copying answers into my notes. But I wasn’t necessarily done with them. I might want to change the plan, correct something, or add my own thoughts. I wanted an easier way to bring those changes into another conversation, too.

Say you ask ChatGPT for a launch checklist. You can tell it to save that in Truffle, then open it on your phone and change the tasks yourself. Later, ask, “Read my launch checklist in Truffle and help me plan tomorrow.” It can read the note with your changes, without you having to paste everything back in.

You can also start by writing something yourself in Truffle. It doesn’t have to come from ChatGPT.

I’ve put a lot of thought into the editing side because I want these to be notes you actually use. You can edit Markdown, including properly rendered tables, and set reminders on notes or checklists that send an iPhone notification.

After six months on TestFlight, Truffle is now on the App Store! Thank you to everyone who helped test it and shared feedback along the way.

There’s a guided 3-step tutorial inside the app to connect it to ChatGPT. It takes about 2 minutes, you only need to do it once, and completing it gives you one month of Truffle Plus free.

I’d love to hear what you save first. I’ll be here answering questions, and please tell me if you get stuck setting it up.
