📱 From iPhone 3GS to TrueFrame AI — Why I built it

by•

Hey everyone 👋

I’ve been using the iPhone since the 3GS, but it was with the iPhone 5s that I really started filming everything — trips, friends, daily life.

Over the years, I’ve collected a lot of Full HD 30 fps and some 4K 30 fps videos that I wished I could make smoother, sharper, or even convert to 60 fps.

That’s how the idea for TrueFrame AI was born.

I wanted a tool that could enhance and restore my old videos, but without uploading them anywhere.

Privacy was a non-negotiable part — I didn’t want to send personal videos to the cloud, or even have analytics or crash reports tracking users.

That’s why TrueFrame AI doesn’t include Firebase Crashlytics, analytics, or error reporting of any kind.

Everything runs fully on-device.

What started as a personal need became a full app for iPhone, iPad, and Mac — a simple, private way to upscale, boost FPS, and bring life back to your memories.

Would love to hear your thoughts.
