Tripshaper - Explore Indonesia by map. Build trips. Book commission-free

Hi Product Hunt! I’m Randy, the founder and solo creator of Tripshaper. 👋 The idea began while I was researching—and later traveling through—Indonesia. This meant jumping between maps, blogs, booking sites, forums, and social media. At the same time, I saw small guides, homestays, and other providers struggling to find customers in Facebook groups and travel subreddits. In addition, major platforms take 15–20% of a booking, which can be a lot if you rent out a room for $25 a night. I wanted to build something more fun and equitable. Tripshaper is a bilingual, map-first adventure travel platform covering 1,100+ Indonesian destinations. Travelers can explore, research, build and share trips, ask destination-specific questions, and connect directly with local providers—without commissions for either party.
