TrembleCode - The self-hosted software house

by
TrembleCode is an open-source, self-hosted platform that runs a team of Claude Code agents like a software house. Each project gets an isolated Docker sandbox; agents coordinate over Redis Streams, plan tasks from a PRD, and you watch & steer them

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 I'm Luca, a freelance software engineer. For the last 2 months me and Claude have been building TrembleCode. The name comes from the tremble dance honeybees do when they've found more work than they can handle and need to recruit more hands. 🐝 That's basically the whole idea: when there's more to build than you can carry alone, recruit a swarm. It's an open-source, self-hosted platform that turns Claude Code into a real team you run on your own machine: 🗂️ Project sandboxing: each project runs in its own isolated Docker container, so agents have full permissions without ever touching your machine or each other. 📨 Agents that coordinate: they pass messages over Redis streams instead of fighting over one terminal. 🧑‍💼 Custom roles: define your own agent figures (Team Lead, Backend, QA…) and how they work together. 📋 PRD in, plan out: drop in a spec (or bootstrap one through a chat) and the Team Lead breaks it into tasks, user stories, and a Gantt. No standup required 😄 👀 Watch & steer: every agent is a live session you can attach to and redirect anytime. You stay in the loop. 💸 Per-task cost tracking: so the swarm never surprises you on the bill. It's AGPL-3.0 and self-hostable forever: solo devs and small teams never hit a paywall. I started on Claude Code because it's the strongest coding agent today (and the one I already had a subscription to 😅). Other backends are on the roadmap. It's early and rough in spots. I'd genuinely love your feedback. Happy to answer anything! 🐝
