Hey Product Hunt! I built Transcribe Tok because pulling text out of a TikTok was needlessly annoying. Every tool I tried was slow, made me sign up before it would show me anything, buried the result in ads, or wanted me to install a browser extension first. I just wanted the boring version: paste a link, get the transcript. That's the whole thing. If a video already has captions, you get those. If it doesn't, it falls back to AI transcription, so you're not stuck staring at an error the way you are with most caption-scraping tools. Either way the text comes back clean and ready to copy or download, and anything you've transcribed stays in a searchable library so you're not redoing work. So far it's been most useful for creators repurposing videos into scripts and captions, researchers going through a lot of content, and social teams working across multiple accounts.
