Hey Product Hunt! I'm Pavan, maker of Trailback.
We all know the feeling: you saw a PDF, a web page or a screenshot a few days ago, and now you can't find it. You don't remember the file name, the folder, or even which browser it was in. You just remember roughly what it was about.
That's why I built Trailback. Press Option + Space on Mac (Alt + Shift + Space on Windows), describe what you're looking for in plain words, and Trailback finds it.
What it can find: - Files and documents, including the words inside PDFs and screenshots - Web pages you visited (Chrome, Brave, Firefox, Edge and Safari) - Downloads, apps, copied text and notes - "What was I doing?" to see your day on a simple timeline
The part I care about most: it's 100% offline and private. Your data never leaves your computer. No cloud, no account, no tracking. Copied passwords, keys and card numbers are skipped automatically.
Launch price: $5 one-time (lifetime license) for the first 100 buyers, then $9. No subscription.
