Hello ProductHunt - I am a Solo Dev behind Trackr.

I built Trackr out of sheer frustration during my own job hunt. I was tired of copy-pasting job titles, company names, and URLs back and forth into spreadsheets. I tried existing tools but disliked that they either hoarded data behind paywalls or charged monthly subscriptions just to view basic stats.

I wanted something fast, visual, and privacy-first.

What makes Trackr different:

  1. One-Click Clipper: A Chrome Extension that scrapes details directly from LinkedIn job pages.

  2. Privacy: It’s 100% open-source and free to self-host.

  3. Managed Cloud: If you don't want to self-host, we host it for you!

Early Adopter Perk: Anyone who signs up for the managed cloud during our beta launch gets free lifetime Pro access to all upcoming cloud features (AI resume match, Gmail sync, etc.).

I'd love to hear your feedback. What features should we add next?

Thanks for checking it out! ❤️

Love the Kanban approach for tracking applications, way better than my messy Google sheet. One thing I'd love to see is a built-in salary expectation tracker per role, so you can see how your targets shift over time and which applications are actually worth your energy.

Hey Alparslan, thanks for the support! Escaping the messy Google Sheets was the exact reason I built Trackr. A built-in salary expectation tracker is an awesome suggestion, Having a quick visual on how your compensation targets shift over time would be super valuable to see where to focus your energy. I'm noting this down for a future update!

the glassmorphic kanban style is honestly such a nice touch for something as dull as tracking applications, feels way less like a chore to use

Hey Metehan, thank you! That was exactly my goal. Job hunting is already stressful and tedious, so I wanted to make the workspace feel visual, clean, and not just like another boring spreadsheet. I am glad that you liked it!

The Chrome Extension clipping sounds clutch for sure. One thing that would really round it out for me is a quick auto-fill cover letter draft using the clipped job description as context. Tying the AI right into the clipping step so I can tweak and send from the same view would save a ton of tab switching.

Hey Osman, thanks so much! That's a brilliant idea and will save a lot more time and will make it ease to apply. Since I am already planning to add AI resume matching to cloud ver., integrating an AI cover letter draft into extension makes perfect sense. It would definitely save a ton of context switching. I am adding this to the feature roadmap today!
