Torque - Satellite data that predicts markets before earnings.

by
Search a stock ticker. Get a bullish, bearish, or neutral signal based on that company's real-world physical activity. Torque Intelligence uses satellite-derived data to monitor supply chain activity at distribution centers globally, tracking truck volume, lot density, and logistics patterns before they show up in earnings. Most alternative data is expensive and lagging. Torque delivers signals from orbit to investors before the market moves, at a fraction of the cost.

Hello world! I'm Josh, Co-Founder of Torque. The idea is simple: satellites see everything. Activity at distribution centers spikes and drops before earnings are reported. We monitor those fluctuations from satellites passing overhead and turn it into a bullish, bearish, or neutral read on a stock — before the market knows. We're starting with funds and family offices. But the endgame is bigger. Capitalism isn't working for a lot of young people. They don't own equities, have no skin in the game, and don't participate in the upside. A huge reason why is that the best data has always been locked behind $30K Bloomberg subscriptions, internal quant teams, and years of proprietary infrastructure. Torque changes that. Hedge fund level insights, built for everyone. We applied to YC because we think this is a big company. Would love brutal feedback from this community.

Super interesting idea — satellite data for market signals is a wild angle. Curious to see how accurate it gets over time, and how it adapts to different industries, geographical locations, and all the nuances that make up a the price of a stock. Can’t wait to see the growth here!

I worked with a few quants back in the day, those guys would freaking love this via an API!
