What's the biggest pain point when trying a new AI model?

Every new model seems to bring exciting capabilities, but trying it often means creating another account, managing another API key, or updating integrations.
What's the biggest friction you've experienced when exploring new AI models?

for me it's less the account/key setup and more re-tuning prompts that were dialed in for the old model. a prompt that reliably got the right format and tone out of one model can behave completely differently on another, so 'trying' a new model really means redoing a chunk of prompt engineering before you can even judge if it's actually better for your use case.
totally agree. I think this is becoming less painful as more of the workflow, memory, and tools are moving into the agent layer now. while the underlying model still matters a lot ,especially for instruction following, tool calling, and reasoning style.
